From the drawing table to finished product – and beyond
A new era for sea travel is here. A premium take on a luxury cruise ship, demands a premium take on its design and lay-out. That is where we pitch in. As a previous furnishing partner of Virgin, we were quickly considered for this project. The wants and needs? Custom-made furniture, applicable materials for pre-designed ideas from their designers and a high-end service overall. From the drawing table at Virgin Voyages – until the moment Scarlet Lady was shipped to sea (pun intended). ROBOS created, innovated, and delivered.
CUSTOM MADE ITEM: Hooded Daybed
One of those delivered products? The custom-made Hooded Daybed – Virgin’s take on the popular ‘strandkorb’. The beach-chair is easily recognizable by the numbering on the back of the chair. Taking the worrying out remembering your sunbathing-spot, and helping you focus on the more important things during this cruise – which cocktails to enjoy.

It all started with a sketch provided by Virgin Voyages. Together with their architect we looked at the options regarding materials, fabrics, colors, and finishes. We came up with several options and drew shop drawings to back up our ideas. A 3D photo-realistic drawing made by our team showed the overall idea and its result.
