Drydock special

In addition to new construction ships, ROBOS is also extensively involved in drydock projects. This fall 2024, we have two drydocks planned: the NCL Encore Drydock and the Virgin Scarlet Lady. Here are some examples of activities we are typically approached for during a drydock:

1.Replacement sling for outdoor sunbeds.

2.Replacement or inspection of aqua theater chairs (as done for the Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas).

3. Replacement and addition of cushions for indoor and outdoor furniture.

4. Checking the attachment of fixed table bases to the floor.

5. Adding or replacing furniture, even in smaller quantities.

6. Replacement of table tops.

7. Furniture maintenance using the ROBOS maintenance box.

As with new build, we provide advice throughout the entire process regarding functionality, execution, and cost. Likewise, a ROBOS team will come on board to complete the work. In the case of the Virgin Scarlet Lady, we will supply furniture for newly built suites. Since there is an increased demand for suites, cabins are being converted into suites. Additionally, we will provide sunbeds in the same color scheme as those used on newer ships, along with extra sunbeds according to the new concept. During a drydock, the ship owner is our main client, though we often collaborate with the outfitter as well. Would you like to learn more about the possibilities?
